Mike Lewis

Mike Lewis and family joined the Lewisville church of Christ, January 2nd as an Involvement and Personal Work minister.  He moved here from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where he served as Evangelist for the Carlisle church of Christ.  He is a graduate in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University and was on the President's list and Dean's list. He is also listed in Who's Who among students in American Junior Colleges.

Mr. Lewis has been involved in various ministries, including, Campus Evangelist at Northwest Missouri State University, Prison Minister, Lectureship and Youth Rally Speaker, as well a Pulpit Evangelist.

Mr. Lewis states he and his family were overwhelmed by the reception at the Lewisville congregation, as well as impressed by the friendly and helpful staff at the various community businesses he had to contact to become established in the Lewisville community.

He has heard how the Lewisville church of Christ rose to meet many challenges since 1997 when the church was established by 125 Christians.  The congregation has grown to an average attendance of 600 and is in the planning process of enlarging the existing facility. This will be the second addition to the original building constructed in 1998. 

Mr. Lewis states he is excited by the talented and committed membership as well as the dynamic fellowship the congregation displays.  He sees his ministry to inspire and involve the members of the Lewisville church in reaching out to the community to serve and evangelize.

Mr. Lewis is married to Jennifer for 14 years. They have three children Joseph (8), Alexa (6), and Jana (5). 

The Lewis family join staff members Tony Hall, Youth and Family Minister, and Jeff A. Jenkins , Pulpit Evangelist.

The Lewisville church of Christ is located at 901 Summit Drive. Sunday worship is 10:00a.m. and bible study at 9:00a.m., evening worship is at 6:00p.m.  Wednesday bible classes are at 7:00p.m.  Ladies bible classes are Tuesday morning at 9:15 and Tuesday evening at 7:30p.m. 

The community is welcome at all services.
